I will write more later on this past week, but lately I have been doing research into a big boy car seat. Altough, we don't have to buy one 'til the end of the year, I have started looking in case I find one I HAVE to have and then I'll be on the lookout for a sale or coupons.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for a over 1 year front facing car seat? I have looked into Consumer Reports, etc. and find that the new Graco Nautilus 3-1 seems to be pretty highly rated but have read reviews that it's extremely uncomfortable. I know Britax is highly popular but also highly expensive. I have seen one Evenflo model I like. Please let me know if any of you have any thoughts on ones to buy or ones to stay away from. Thanks so much.

DO NOT buy an evenflo carseat! You will regret it. Seriously. They are cheap for a reason. For my oldest daughter we bought a Graco convertible carseat that she used from 9 months (rear facing) till 3. It was great. It was about in the middle price wise and had plenty of padding so I'm sure she was comfortable. We turned it around when she turned one and it suited our needs for a long time. Its even still in great shape so my next lady will be making the switch in a couple of months.
